The Empire City casino in Yonkers is donating more than 500 toys and coats to needy kids and families for the holidays, with the help of a generous business owner.
Business owner Josh Blake has been in charge of the toy drive for the past three years. After working closely with the casino, Blake says that Yonkers has become like a second home for him. This year, Blake drove from California to appear at the toy drive in person.
Empire City casino CEO Tim Rooney says it’s been wonderful working with Blake to put together the drive.
