Empire City Casino generated nearly one-third of the $71 million raised for education through gaming at racetrack casinos statewide in July, the Yonkers casino announced.
The $23 million raised by Empire City in partnership with the New York Lottery will fund public schools.
“We have produced well over $1.5 billion for education since opening and we look forward to increasing that support for schools in Yonkers and across this state,” said Tim Rooney Jr. of Empire City.
