Monticello Casino and Raceway staff assisted Thunder 102 radio station in its annual St. Jude’s Kids Radiothon benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The company’s management donated $1,000, and the staff bought paper boots at $1 apiece, adding $207 to management’s donation.
With the help of local listeners, sponsors and more than 50 local businesses, the radio station raised $38,000 for the hospital, which helps children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
