A local racino is lauding record profits in it’s annual report to the state and with that, more money for schools.

In it’s annual report, the racino said it generated $61 million from gaming revenues, which is an increase of two percent over the previous fiscal year. From this, Tioga Downs generated nearly $24 million for education across New York State.

This comes as the as the New York Gaming Association announces record revenues from across the state to the tune of $1.83 billion. This is up 22 percent over the previous fiscal year.
