Tioga Downs is hosting a special dealer admissions fair on Feb. 26 and 27 for anyone who wants to learn more about dealer opportunities.
“We’re looking for some great personalities and wonderful hospitality in folks in the Southern Tier here to learn how to deal in some black jack and some craps,” said Michael Chapman, the Director of Casino Operations at Tioga Downs.
A free dealer training program is also being offered and Chapman is hoping that two to three hundred people will enroll.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity. I’ve been in the casino industry for over 20 years now. I’ve gotten to see a lot of different things, a lot of different people and there’s never a boring day. It’s always exciting,” Chapman said.
The fair includes open interviews for the training program that will be held on Feb. 26 from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
An additional session will be held Friday, Mar. 4 from 3 to 6 pm.
The free dealer program begins on Mar. 14.
