Fine dining — under a moniker most synonymous with culinary prestige — meets high-end gaming at the new delectable addition to the Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack “racino.”

Wolfgang Puck Express, a new restaurant in the recently expanded section of the gaming floor, offers hand-crafted gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, soups and salads. Four Wolfgang Puck wine selections are also available.

“Wolfgang Puck brings the freshness — a real focus on local, organic farm-to-table, which is really huge in the Finger Lakes right now,” said Alicia Bastian, restaurant manager. “Everything is made from scratch daily. Nothing is made until you order it, even our pizzas.”

The nine different signature pizza options are made with hand-stretched dough and baked in a brick oven. A late-night menu is currently in the works, for release in the near future and will be served at the feature bar, Remedy, after hours.

“You get the same type of dining experience that you would get in a fine dining restaurant,” Bastian said. “It’s the same type of meals that you would get at his Chinois restaurant in California.”

Local live bands perform in the featured bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Upcoming acts include Ruby Shooz and Rochester Brass and Electric.

“It’s the only (local) place you can get Wolfgang Puck food outside of New York city,” said marketing director Brian Moore. “It’s the only place where you can pair Wolfgang Puck food with the fun of gaming and live entertainment.”
